Back to Basics

This  2 hour class is based on marksmanship and all of the basics you have forgot, You will need 100 rounds of ammo, over the ear hearing protection, wrap around eyes and proper range attire. This course was offered at a IALEFI Annual Training Conference held here in San Antonio a few years ago, the instructors included the rep's from the San Antonio FBI office & NRA Law Enforcement Training Division.

Please Note : It is required that students bring their own firearm, ammo, cleaning kit, over the ears hearing protection and wrap around hearing protection

NRA Personal Protection Inside The Home (perfect for the castle doctrine law)

This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 + rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate . NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and experienced shooters (shooters able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm) to maximize what can be learned from this course. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification, or passing the Pre-Course Assessment.

This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 300+ rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. This is an six-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 200+ rounds of ammunition. Students will learn advanced defensive shooting tactics, strategies for responding to a violent confrontation, other firearms options and the law, upon successful course completion you will be awarded the course certificate of competition.

NRA ADVANCED Personal Protection Outside the Home course is for law-abiding adult citizens, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and experienced shooters (shooters must be able to show mastery of the intermediate skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm to maximize what can be learned from this course. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following: NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home and the Outside the Home Certificates, NRA Pistol Competitive Shooting qualification card or a military DD 214 with pistol qualification dated in last 3 years and passing the Pre-Course Assessment conducted by the Instructors

Tactical Hand Gunning for the TXLTC Holder - session # 1 - 1 hour in the classroom & 3 on the range ...Students should expect to shoot approximately 300+ rounds of ammunition. You must show proof of shooting experience by one of the following: NRA Personal Protection Inside, Outside and the NRA Advanced Personal Protection Outside the Home Certificates, NRA Pistol Competitive Shooting qualification card or a military DD 214 with pistol qualification dated in last 3 years and passing the Pre-Course Assessment conducted by the Instructors.

Tactical Hand Gunning for the TXLTC Holder - session # 2  -  This is a 5 hour range course, you must have taken session  #1 level course prior to this course. You will need 500 rounds of ammunition, You must have attended our Tactical Hand Gunning for the TXLTC Holder - session # 1 and there is no exceptions.
